HILLSIDE’S GREAT EFFORT AT ZONE CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVAL
Hillside Public School recently took part in the Beecroft Zone Cross Country Carnival held at Fagan Park. Our students displayed outstanding effort, determination, and sportsmanship as they navigated the challenging course alongside competitors from local schools.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to challenge themselves, cheer on their peers, and represent Hillside with pride. We are extremely proud of all participants for their commitment and enthusiasm.
CREATING TEXTURE AND COLOUR WITH HYDRANGEAS
This term, our students have been exploring texture and colour through hydrangeas in the Inclusive Visual Arts program. They mixed their own colours and experimented with techniques like dabbing and brush strokes to bring their artwork to life. These whole-school programs encourage collaboration across stages, supporting differentiated learning and catering to our HPGE students. Enjoy this beautiful piece, Hydrangeas by Hamish, Year 1.
HILLSIDE HITS THE STAGE WITH ‘HOODWINKED’: A MUSICAL ADVENTURE FOR ALL
Hillside Public School is thrilled to present this year’s school production, Hoodwinked – a fun and energetic pantomime with a playful twist on the classic tale of Robin Hood. Last term, students eagerly auditioned, and rehearsals are now well underway.
With plenty of singing, dancing, and laughs, Hoodwinked offers every student the opportunity to shine. At Hillside, our smallschool environment creates big opportunities, helping students build confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a supportive space. Congratulations to all our students for getting involved. It’s going to be a show to remember!
