Community Access Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) – Do you know where the nearest one to you is? Do you know how to access it and how to use it?
The Hall Committee hosted a community information session, Sunday 25/05/2025, to answer these questions and give members of the community the opportunity to practice with training AEDs.
In a Cardiac Emergency every minute counts! Most of Glenorie is a minimum of 30mins from the nearest ambulance. Knowing where and how to access the nearest Community Access AED could save the life of a loved one.
If you missed the session – we will be hosting another Sunday 14th September 2:30pm in the hall – Save the date it might save your life! Special thanks to the community groups and businesses who have supported the Community Access AED program making these units available to us all.
Thanks to Michael Hutchence for providing the IT for the day, the Hills District RFS for the equipment used and Elizabeth Whiteman for presenting the session.
