Galston Concerts 2025

Nestled just beyond Dural in 11 School Road Galston: The Uniting Church may seem unassuming from the outside. However, step inside and you discover a stunningly modern space.

A spectacular stained-glass window bathes the sanctuary in colour, while a 6’ C7 Yamaha grand piano and the 1887 English Heritage Organ (built by Forster and Andrews) – dominate the stage. With its grand piano, beautiful pipe organ, state-of-the-art sound studio, and impressive video screens, this church is more than a place of worship: it has become a first-class performance venue.

For the final 2025 Galston Concert on Sunday 2nd November @ 2pm – you will have the opportunity of hearing beautiful music on both instruments plus violin performances.

Two exceptional young tertiary prodigies: Tim Li, a Conservatorium tertiary student and multi-instrumentalist and Sean Weatherly (a violinist with an L.Mus.A. and also an excellent organist) will dazzle the audience with their performances. Both musicians have performed on the Sydney Town Hall Organ for past ‘Young Organists Day’ Concerts.

OPTIONAL: For lovers of classical music, these concerts are proof that you don’t need to travel to the city for world-class performances, the Hills are alive with music right here at home.
