The Charity bins that were located at the old Andy’s Takeaway site on Arcadia Road, and the Galston Club carpark have now been removed.
A new bin has been placed at Galston (just outside the perimeter of the Aldi Car park) but as of today (24/1) was overflowing. There are also bins at St Judes, and Helping Hearts both at the corner of Galston & Old Northern Roads.

More Woes for Wiso’s
The GCN is sad to report that another iconic business of Wiseman’s Ferry Village has closed its doors for good. The scenic Heritage Café has ceased trading, allegedly due to increased rental charges.
With the recent closure of the Ferry Artist’s Gallery within the same complex, the vibrant little village shines a little less brightly now.
