The Bestest Scarecrow Festival in the World of Galston, Fiddletown, Berrilee and Arcadia is back!
The trail of Crows & Crones adorning fences, nature strips, facades, shopfronts, stables, sheds of postcode 2159 bring joy and smiles to all.
Now is the time for every household, business, club, aged care facility, retirement village, school, preschool and childcare centre in postcode 2159 to create and display a ScareCrow/Crone in this marvellous community event.
With FREE ENTRY & DECENT PRIZES on offer you’d be mad if you didn’t join the fun and create your very own exhibit.
So how do you go about entering? Let us know you’re creating an exhibit and register via the AGRA2159 website https://agra2159. com.au/scarecrow-competition. When you’ve erected your creation send us a photo or 2.
Our independent, enthusiastic and highly respected Judge will then visit each exhibit to scrutinise, assess and evaluate just how creative 2159-er’s are. The Judge will be leaping out of the car to inspect, gently poke, prod and photograph each exhibit on Sunday 3rd November 2024.
Multiple scarecrows may be presented at each address.
AGRA will create a trail map to guide visitors to view the wonders of 2159-ers’ creativity, wit, flair and ingenuity.
There are scarily good prizes up for grabs. AGRA will issue AGRA Money vouchers which are redeemable at any business in postcode 2159.
