Bella Vista Farm 1st Open Day of 2026

Sunday, 1st February – 9 am – 2 pm

By Gisela Horner

Bella Vista Farm recently hosted a fantastic Australia Day celebration on January 26th and will hold its Open Day this coming Sunday, February 1st. It’s a wonderful place to visit, whether you’re coming for the first time or are a regular visitor.

There is always something new to do and see at the farm. The Trash and Treasure stall (no trash only treasure!) is a great drawcard and grows in popularity each year. Devonshire Teas (and Coffees) are always a favourite whilst sitting under shade and listening to beautiful music played by ensembles from the Hills Shire Symphony Orchestra.

Tours of the house (a gold coin donation) are very popular, guided by knowledgeable Friends of Bella Vista Farm who bring alive the history that has gone before.

The sausage sizzle and onions set your taste buds jumping, along with homemade chilli jam. Our new grape jam for sale is made from our own grapevine! Plants are for sale too and our bush poet Greg has some wonderful yarns to tell.

The sheep add to the beauty of the rural setting, along with the soaring bunya pines and ancient Moreton Bay Figs which give welcome shade to the property.

Find us on the corner of Elizabeth Macarthur Drive and Norwest Boulevard, Bella Vista. From 9 am-2 pm. We guarantee you will have a fascinating day out!
