Off to Africa

Local pump manufacturer, Australian Pump Industries, have just shipped another four of their big 6” heavy duty trash pumps with a view to making every effort to save the city of Juba from the equatorial monsoon floods.

The United National already have 25 of these big Aussie 6” pumps working to divert the Nile River around Juba.

This shipment, going by urgent air freight directly to Africa ,will give them the extra capacity to move 24,000 litres per minute to keep the city safe.

“Working with the United Nations is a great privilege. We’re proud of being able to help people in trouble, undergoing very tough climate conditions, with the threat of a civil war breaking out any time”, said Mel Jansen, Aussie Pumps Export Manager.

The big pumps were wrapped up like mummies and skidded for air freight and then “Off to Africa”.
