Quilting Workshop: Key Ingredients for a Successful Group
Sometimes it’s good to stop and look at ‘the way we really are’ … NO photoshop effects, NO add-ons, NO tinting and tinkering. What really makes a Community Group a successful group?
The photo shows the Arcadian Quilters creating, discussing, deciding on patterns, choosing colours, planning for workshops (and the occasional social event of course). This is a successful, genuine and valued Women’s Group in action.
We made this beautifully coloured quilt from the festive table napkins from an Indian family wedding. A wonderful keepsake for the bride’s family!
Our door is always open and new members are very welcome. We meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday of every month at 9.30am, at the Community Health Centre, The Glade, Galston.
