IF ESCAPISM and WHIMSY was your delight on VALENTINE’S DAY then our Exotic Garden Quilt was the perfect choice.
This quilt is the result of our Christmas Holiday Challenge. The blocks were ‘judged’ by our visiting guest, Beth Miller, a renowned Patchwork teacher, Judge and Quilter, Beth now resides in Canberra and we were delighted to have her company for the day!!
Photo left … still in the early stages, this quilt will soon become a real ‘winner.’
We also had a second ‘challenge’ for those members who wanted to keep busy ??
The theme was A HOUSE BLOCK, choosing any style we wanted, Schoolhouse, Cabin or Church-block etc and the results are already looking wonderfully interesting.
Another ‘winner’ in the making, SO please watch-this-space for next months news !!! It’s February 2025 and great for us to be back, sharing our days and ideas together and looking forward to another rewarding year.
