Arcadia Pony Club Closed Showjumping Sponsored by Horseland Dural

Arcadia Pony Club ran their annual Closed Showjumping event on Sunday, 30th September. It was the first weekend of the school holidays so there were lots of riders commencing their school break with a fun and fabulous show jumping! What better way to kick-off school holidays!

A huge than you to our wonderful sponsor for providing gift vouchers for the Champions – Horseland Dural.

It was a great day had by all and as always would not have been possible without our wonderful parent volunteers who managed the course set up on Saturday afternoon and then ran the day with judging, pencilling, scorers, canteen, warm up stewards and the most important – parents picking up poles and changing heights on the day!

Results were as follows:
Class 1: C Grade
Champion: Sarah Harris
Reserve Champion: Virag Toth

Class 2: D Grade
Champion: Rosie Kenny
Reserve Champion: Sophie
Hamilton-James

Class 3: E Grade
Champion: Amelia Fearnside
Reserve Champion: Melia Bloch

Class 4: Intro
Champion: Aria Miltiades
Reserve Champion: Jessica Cepak

And well done to all of our led and assisted riders too, you did a wonderful job – Alyssa Cepak, Leilanai Bloch, Issac Gregory and Avalon Chambers.

A very special mention to Avalon as our newest member, this competition was her first equestrian competition ever and her huge smile throughout the day showed everyone that it won’t be the last! Well done Avalon!

And don’t forget, out last rally day for the year will be on Sunday 2nd December which will be a fun day with lots of mounted and unmounted games including some water fun!

And last but not least, our Annual General Meeting and Award Presentation will be held on Sunday 9th December at The Galston Club.

Save these dates! We look forward to seeing you there!

Come ride with us – join us for fun, friendship and competitions! Arcadia Pony Club has a “come and try” programme for riders aged between 4 – 25 years with their own horses or ponies where you can come along to a Rally Day and gain some riding instruction, meet new friends and have a lot of fun.

We meet the first and third Sunday every month at the Rural Sports Facility in Galston. To find out more about Arcadia Pony Club and to see our instructor profiles, please visit http://www.arcadiaponyclub.org
