Arcadia Pony Club

What’s the best way to spend Father’s Day? Helping out at Closed Show jumping at Arcadia Pony Club of course!

Whilst most dads were perhaps having a sleep in followed by breakfast in bed on Father’s Day, a number of very special dads were out in force helping out at Arcadia Pony Club’s annual Closed Show jumping competition. It was a lovely winter’s day at our wonderful grounds at the Rural Sports Facility with a great turnout of competitors. The day was a huge success with the event generously sponsored by Horseland Dural. The results for the day were as follows:

The champions in each age group each received a gift voucher from Horseland Dural.

Congratulations to all the competitors and a big thank you to the event organisers and to all the parents that helped throughout the day with gear check, stewarding, marshalling, judging and our canteen team. And of course – a BIG thank you to all the dads that helped out throughout the day with set up, picking up poles throughout the day and pack up as well. We hope you had a great day!

Arcadia Pony Club has a “come and try” programme for riders aged between 4 – 25 years with their own horses or ponies where you can come along to a Rally Day and gain some riding instruction, meet new friends and have a lot of fun.

Arcadia Pony meets the first, third and fifth Sunday every month at the Rural Sports Facility in Galston. To find out more about Arcadia Pony Club and to see our instructor profiles, please visit http://www.arcadiaponyclub.org
