The children at Dural Public School recently spent three amazing days of intensive learning on their annual Music Camp situated on the site of the beautiful Galston Gorge Cru Camp.
The three day Music Camp provides the children with a terms worth of learning to explore and develop their musical skills alongside their peers of varying levels of experience. Specialised tutors join the students on camp, working with specific instrument sections of the bands.
In addition to Band itself, the children will tell you “the food is the best”, but they also learn concepts such as teamwork, self-discipline, responsibility, personal growth, and of course have lots of fun!
The camp concludes with a wonderful showcase concert allowing all students to perform and share what they have learnt throughout the camp.
