Hills District Netball Association recently held its ‘Crazy Hair and Sock’ weekend. This is an annual fundraiser for The Kids Cancer Project. All member clubs are encouraged to get their players to wear colourful socks and create whatever hairstyles their imaginations can conjure up.
To encourage participation, Galston Netball Club awarded prizes to their best dressed individuals and the best dressed team. Congratulations to our two individual winners; Amelia and Bethany, and to the team winners; U11 division 2. Thanks to all our players who made the effort to dress up for the day, and to the parents and supporters who gave generously raising nearly $1500 for a worthwhile cause.
The winter netball season is nearing its conclusion, with finals now being played. Thank you to all players who represented our club so well this year, and we wish all those teams competing in the finals the very best of luck.
