Doug Farlow and Marion O’Connell have secured an impressive double victory at Dural Bowling Club, claiming both the Open Gender Drawn Pairs and Open Gender Pairs titles this year.
The Open Gender Drawn Pairs final took place on Saturday, 21 June 2025, where Farlow and O’Connell emerged victorious. The duo continued their winning streak at the Open Gender Pairs final on Saturday, 13 September 2025, defeating Mark Tremain and Kate Liu to claim the championship. Their dual triumph has cemented them as standout performers in the club’s competitive season.
Looking ahead, Dural Bowling Club is set to host its Annual Graded 2 Bowls Triple Carnival on Monday, 29 September. Sponsored by Parramatta Leagues Club, the event will feature 32 teams vying for a range of exciting prizes. The club will also hold another triple carnival on Monday, 20 October, generously sponsored by Living Choice.
