Probus Club Activities And New Member Welcome
The Round Corner Dural Probus Club offers members the opportunity to come together monthly for a morning. Our regular meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 9:30 am at The Galston Club.
Each meeting includes reports from our active special interest groups, including the Movie Club, Tennis Club, Scrabble Club, Theatre Group, and updates on upcoming events and outings and luncheons. These smaller groups are a great way to meet members and enjoy shared interests. This month we also enjoyed a very entertaining and informative talk from our Guest Speaker, Historian Judith Dunn OAM.
A particular highlight is the monthly update from our Book Club, where members share their latest reading adventures. The Book Club report also features a “Word of the Month”, chosen from the current book, along with its meaning and usage in context—an entertaining way to expand your vocabulary.
Round Corner Dural Probus Club is always eager to welcome new members and visitors who are looking to stay active, meet new friends, and enjoy a variety of social and interest-based activities.
