The Australian Government High Speed Rail Authority will temporarily close the Parsley Bay boat ramp from December 10th to 12th and again from December 17th to 19th, 2024, to disassemble a barge used for marine geotechnical investigations in the Hawkesbury River.
During these periods, boaters are advised to use the alternate boat ramp at Deerubbun Reserve, Mooney Mooney. Some parking on George Street will be temporarily removed during work hours, but alternative parking is available in the boat ramp carpark area.
Pedestrian access to public bathrooms, Parsley Bay wharf, and moorings will remain open. However, the public footpath around Flat Rock Point will be closed at the Parsley Bay boat ramp, preventing access between the car park and the footpath.
