We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our Concert Bands and Ensembles at the recent Eisteddfods. Our talented musicians showcased a diverse range of music, from folk tunes and classical arrangements to a nostalgic tribute to the silent movie era.
The dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail of our students have truly impressed us. Their hard work and commitment to excellence were evident as they once again took home 1st place at the Penrith Eisteddfod, marking the third consecutive year of this remarkable achievement. Notably, our Year 6 Ensemble and Flute Ensemble were competing against high school ensembles, earning fantastic results in their respective categories.
The results from the competitions:
Hawkesbury Eisteddfod:
• Senior Concert Band: 3rd place in Band Grade Level 2
• Beginner Band: Merit Award
Penrith Eisteddfod:
• Senior Concert Band: 1st place in the Primary Band Section
• Year 6 Ensemble: 2nd place in the Mixed Ensemble Section
• Flute Ensemble: 3rd place in the Mixed Ensemble Section
