Our main fund raiser, the Kenthurst Fair, part of Hills Shire Orange Blossom Festival, is happening again this year.
We are seeking stall holders and entertainers for the event. If you are interested in taking part in the categories on our flyer, please contact us.
In other club news, Summer RYPEN attendees Abigail Storrie and Kai Brown came along to our meeting on Monday 25th March to recount their adventures at the camp. Tales of ‘Bob’ the raft and a bomb defusal task kept club members entertained.
These students, from Galston High, were accompanied by their Deputy Principal Julia Petrulis and her husband Glen, along with Abigail’s parents Josh and Rebecca, and Kai’s mum Kylie.
We were all impressed by the level of maturity, composure and gratefulness displayed by Abigail and Kai during their presentation.
The club shall be sponsoring students from Hills Grammar, Marian College and Galston High to attend Winter RYPEN in June.
