Federal Member for Berowra Philip Ruddock MP has announced that Pacific Hills Christian School will receive $300,000 in Capital Grants Funding.
Mr Ruddock said “The Capital Grants Programme is there to provide and improve school capital infrastructure, as well as ensure attention to refurbishment. The government recognises the importance of providing and improving school facilities and Pacific Hills is the first in Berowra to benefit from such funding”
The funding will contribute to Pacific Hills’ construction of a senior school facility providing five general learning areas, a PDHPE area, two science labs as well as storage and change rooms.
“This grant will see that students have learning spaces necessary to get the most out of their time at school, while buildings alone do not make a school, students will benefit when these projects to upgrade facilities are completed”.
The capital Grants Programme provides funding for non-government schools to improve capital infrastructure where they otherwise may not have access to sufficient resources.
