Hills residents rolled up their sleeves for Clean Up Australia Day last week.
46 sites were cleaned up over three separate days by an army of volunteers intend on making our Shire more beautiful.
Hills Shire Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne thanked all those who took part.
“The volunteer spirit of our Shire is something that always makes me proud and to see so many people committed to cleaning up the Hills is very heartening,” Mayor Byrne said.
“There were more registered sites this year than we had in 2015 and that shows how much our residents care about where they live.”
