My Kids Market, the original and largest kids’ Market in New South Wales are proud to announce that we have partnered with local charity North Shore Mums Smiles2U in 2020 to help provide support to families and children during unexpected hospital stays.
My Kids Market will be collecting hotel size toiletry items at our Hornsby Market on Sunday 15 March with all donated items being added to Essential Packs that hope to heal in times of crisis. These carefully put together packages bring care, comfort and a smile to the many children, adults and carers who pass through the doors of our local hospitals every day.
This wonderful charity, Smiles2U was created by three local North Shore mums who have all experienced the Emergency Department first hand and saw a need for care packages for children, along with their parents and carers.
In order for Smiles2U to create these care packages, they rely purely on the generous donations from individuals and businesses so the MKM team are asking our stallholders and shoppers to go through their bathroom drawers and bring along excess toiletry items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste when they visit the Hornsby Market on Sunday 15 March.
My Kids Market will also be collecting toiletry items at the following events throughout the year: Lane Cove Market Sunday 16 August and Hornsby Market on 27 September
