Eels Bring the Energy to Pacific Hills During NRL Blitz

Pacific Hills Christian School was alive with excitement last week as the Parramatta Eels paid a visit as part of the NRL Blitz initiative. The event featured School Sports Captains and students from New Hope Christian School, creating an interactive and memorable experience.

Players Charlie Guymer and Isaiah Iongi took centre stage, sharing insights into the significance of both physical and mental well-being. Their heartfelt discussions resonated with the students, providing a unique perspective on the life of a professional athlete. The humour and encouragement offered by the players motivated many young attendees, creating an inspiring atmosphere.

The event progressed beyond discussions, transitioning into hands-on activities where students participated in drills, practised footy passes, and even engaged in a few lively rounds of scissors-paper-rock. The afternoon was characterised by laughter, teamwork, and a few muddy boots, encapsulating the spirit of sport and community.

The Eels’ visit left a lasting impression, and Pacific Hills Christian School extends its gratitude to the players for their time, wisdom, and enthusiasm as they invest in the next generation.
