Galston Gala – 20 November

The Galston Concerts will return with a Galston Gala on Sunday, 20 November.
The Classical ‘variety concert’ will commence at 2.00pm in Galston Uniting Church, 11 School Road, Galston.
Leading Australian professionals of international profile will present an appealing range of musical styles from Baroque and Romantic to folk and tango settings.
Concert pianist Tonya Lemoh, after perennial successes in Europe and North America, will perform Liszt and Granados from her recent CD.
Organist Pastor de Lasala, a prolific recording artist and annual performer in concerts in France, will offer music of J S Bach on the splendid historic organ of the Church.
Robert Harris and Viola Plus, returned from European concerts in Germany in July, will program music for strings by Handel, Telemann and Piazzolla tangos.
Pianist Nicholas Kennedy, recently awarded ‘outstanding young pianist’ at the Australian Concerto and Instrumental Competition in Townsville, will perform Mozart and Chopin in keeping with The Galston Concerts support of ‘rising stars’.
The Gala will also preview an exciting line-up of Galston Concerts for 2017.
