On Friday 11th May the 1st Dural Scout Group held their Annual General Meeting and Awards Night. The Group reflected on another fun-filled year of camping, bushcraft, outdoor activities, community work and exciting challenges and games. Nine of the youth members across Cubs (8 – 11 years), Scouts (11 – 15 years) and Venturers (15 – 18 years) received awards for their efforts to live by the Scout Laws relating to respect, doing the right thing and developing a strong sense of self belief. Congratulations goes to: Vincent Acosta, Kristina Taylor and Lachlan Edwards for their Cub level awards, Hunter McGhie, Tegan Edwards and Alexis Taylor for their Scout level awards and Jack Rose, Natalie Walsh and Chloe Lawler for their Venturer level awards. We are looking forward to another fabulous year of scouting.
